Welcome Letter

A Note From our President

Welcome to the very first issue of Palate! We created this magazine as a way to share stories, ideas, and recipes that bring us together — customers, vendor partners, and our Atlantic family. It’s more than a publication; it’s a conversation about what matters most to all of us.

Looking back on 2025, I’m truly grateful for what we’ve accomplished together. Opening our new North Canton distribution center, expanding our culinary support programs, and strengthening relationships that began more than 65 years ago — these milestones remind me that progress is always better when it’s shared.

Our refreshed brand, updated website, Atlantic App, and now Palate are all part of one goal: making it easier and more enjoyable to work with Atlantic while staying true to the values that have guided us since day one.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to keep building on that foundation — embracing technology, introducing programs like Beyond the Box, and listening closely to your feedback. Every step forward is about creating more opportunities to grow together.

This year also invites reflection on where we began. Atlantic was founded by my father, Steve Manolakis, whose perseverance, entrepreneurial spirit, and belief in doing business the right way shaped not only this company, but the culture we carry forward today. He left us a legacy that lives not only at the heart of our family, but in the values that continue to guide us as we grow, adapt, and serve our customers with the same dedication he brought from the very beginning.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I hope you enjoy this first issue of Palate and feel the same sense of pride and possibility that we do. Here’s to the next chapter — and to the partnerships that make it all possible.
